The Tigers beat the Atlanta Braves 7-5 today. In the third inning when we were up 5-0 it seemed like the boys were on their way to a laugher but then the Braves dug in and made it a contest. Joel Zumaya gave up his first runs of the spring season in the form of 2 home runs. Jeremy Bonderman spent a lot of time working on his changeup and looked sharp through 5 innings.
In other baseball news the San Diego Padres scored 24 runs today against the Texas Rangers who added 7 of their own for a combined total of 31 runs in one game. The Padres had 50 at bats.
